Proper flashing is essential for the longevity and protection of a home, but unfortunately, it wasn’t installed correctly on this project in Beacon Hill, Seattle, leading to widespread rotten wood in many of the house's corners. While we were able to repair most of the damage in time, the rear balconies—more exposed to the Pacific Northwest elements—had already sustained extensive water damage.

Fortunately, we addressed the issue promptly. We replaced the rotten wood, reinforced the supports for added strength, and redesigned the structure to prevent water from seeping into the framing in the future. These improvements not only restored the balconies but also ensured greater durability and protection against the elements moving forward.
