Queen Anne Deck Renovation

The original stadium-style seating design of this deck in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle limited its usable space, so we reimagined the layout by lowering it to approximately 8 inches off the ground and straightening the staircase for a more functional and open feel. For the decking, we selected Apex Brazilian Teak Decking, a premium material known for its exceptional texture and superior slip resistance—surpassing many other options on the market. To complete the look, we installed crisp white Fortress composite railings that perfectly accent the deck’s clean and modern aesthetic, creating a safe, stylish, and highly usable outdoor space.
